Thank you for your thoughtful response and for welcoming the Thrive Protocol proposal! I appreciate the recognition of our commitment by using the forum, and I’m happy to provide more details on the goal of this proposal, the role of advocates like myself, and why I’m proposing this partnership, covering the who, what, where, why, and how.
Thrive Protocol advocates, like myself, aim to bridge the gap between crypto communities and efficient capital allocation by championing partnerships that maximize value creation. We focus on connecting top talent, streamlining grant distribution, and validating contributions through on-chain milestones to ensure transparency and measurable impact. Our goal is to empower ecosystems, like Shibarium, by fostering collaboration, attracting builders, and ensuring funds are used effectively to drive growth and innovation.
Why I, an Advocate, Am Proposing This:
As a Thrive Protocol advocate, my role is to identify and propose partnerships that align with Thrive’s mission of creating value for all communities while addressing their unique needs. I’m proposing this collaboration with K9 Finance DAO because I see a clear opportunity for mutual growth. K9 Finance DAO, as a Shiba Inu-native liquid staking protocol on Shibarium, is well-positioned to benefit from Thrive’s expertise in decentralized funding coordination, while Thrive can expand its presence into the fast-growing Shibarium ecosystem through this partnership. My advocacy stems from a belief that combining Thrive’s tools with K9’s community-driven governance can set a new standard for transparent, merit-based DeFi projects.
Who:
Thrive Protocol, founded in 2021 by Daniel Jacobs, is a decentralized platform with a team of over 30 developers, entrepreneurs, and crypto experts, working with protocols like Arbitrum, Metis, and ApeCoin to optimize treasury capital distribution. I’m an advocate for Thrive, and we’re engaging with K9 Finance DAO, a liquid staking protocol on Shibarium, to explore a partnership.
What:
The proposal aims to establish a partnership where Thrive Protocol supports K9 Finance DAO by providing decentralized coordination and validation of funding. Thrive would ensure grants or incentives are distributed based on verifiable, on-chain milestones, helping K9 Finance DAO scale its operations while Thrive expands into Shibarium.
Where:
This collaboration would take place within the Shibarium ecosystem, where K9 Finance DAO operates as a liquid staking protocol for BONE tokens. Thrive would integrate its tools and validator network to support K9’s growth, leveraging K9’s community governance on the K9 Finance DAO forum and Snapshot voting platform.
Why:
This partnership benefits both parties. For K9 Finance DAO, Thrive offers a transparent, milestone-based funding model that aligns with K9’s values of transparency and merit-based progress, helping attract contributors and scale in Shibarium. For Thrive, supporting a Shiba Inu-native protocol like K9 Finance DAO allows us to expand into Shibarium, gain measurable impact data, and build reputation through on-chain value delivery. As an advocate, I see this as a strategic fit to drive innovation and growth in a new Layer 2 ecosystem.
How:
Thrive would use its decentralized reviewer network and on-chain attestation tools to validate contributions and milestones for K9 Finance DAO projects. Funding from Thrive’s treasury partners (like Arbitrum or Metis) would be unlocked only when value is created. K9 Finance DAO would gain access to Thrive’s network of builders and DeFi experts, while Thrive would use K9’s validator and staking data to demonstrate a proof-of-value use case.
Next steps include deeper discussions, potentially via a call, to align on KPIs and milestones, followed by a formal proposal submission for community feedback and Snapshot voting.
I hope this provides a clear picture of the proposal and my role as an advocate. I’m excited to continue this discussion and explore how we can collaborate to benefit both K9 Finance DAO and Thrive Protocol!
If you guys are on-board, I’ve already spoken to the Dev Relations about K9. We could get both parties into a group chat in order to move further forward. Thanks!
