I think you should be considered. I believe we need to do our due process and explore all options in a timely manner.
I have a few thoughts: I donāt see anyone more fit to lead the Sub DAO. There could be several applicants for this position however I donāt see any of them with their interest or desire to lead it in the forum. The Sub DAO needs strong leadership with a commitment to results and delivering that our team (MGT council/community) has and currently stands for. Outsourcing some Marketing is surely desired and needed but the the leadership of the Sub DAO has to (in my opinion)come from someone with a commitment, understanding and love of K9.
I support this proposal. Very well outlined with a very clear path and objective.
I would absolutely consider Shane for this leadership roll. He has proven to step up, take charge and set feelings aside on many occasions. Shane is an active member of the DAO and continues to be the voice for K9.
Of courses supporting the proposal for a new marketing push.
But at this level we will need ppl who do marketing for a living more or less and are coming with ideas not just k9 enthusiasts (who we love) but we will need to strike while the iorn is hot.
I believe Shane is an excellent fit for this role.
*He has been working with K9 Finance since the very beginning, and outside of the DEV team, I donāt think anyone knows the project better than him.
*On top of that, his commitment is unmatched, heās been holding weekly X-Spaces consistently from day one, every single week!
*That level of dedication and engagement with the community proves his genuine commitment to the success of K9 Finance.
So~ Iām confident he would bring both experience and passion to this role!
well as I read it, that will/can go under this part(?)
I support this and encourage the Roundtable of Dogs to thoroughly review Shane/Pulse as a candidate for this role as the founding member of the K9 Marketing Sub DAO for the following reasons:
- Consistency of current involvement: Shane has hosted nearly 50 consecutive DAO Spaces with a high quality that the community enjoys. These have been executed independently with high autonomy with very little oversight needed. Many improvements, suggestions, and coaching for community members have come out of his contributions to the DAO through these spaces
- Expansive network: Shane has a marketing agency called Pulse Digital and he has curated Telegram channels (which I have been invited to) for Spaces Hosts and Crypto 101 with nearly 50+ members. Many members of these groups are looking for opportunities to use their skills in Web3 marketing, so I have a high degree of faith that Shane has a network to lean on to build a strong team. Shane also works closely with K9 advisor Mario Nawfal at IBC Ventures, which has an incredibly robust network
- Leadership qualities: I have hosted and attended tens (if not hundreds) of Spaces with Shane where I have witnessed him be able to coach, onboard, and lead groups of various backgrounds to be comfortable on Spaces and execute them at a high quality. I also participated in a campaign that he did with Bad Idea AI where there was a March Madness tournament, so I got to witness his ability to execute a campaign with multiple partners at a high level of success
- Community Activity: Shane is one of the more active members in our community and participates daily in both the general Telegram channel & the Whale Chat 7 days a week. He has shown that he has an āalways onā mentality to go above the typical 9-5 commitment that is typically needed to succeed in Web3
- Team Cohesion: our moderators & development team have all interfaced with Shane directly (whether it be on K9 or other projects) and have a high degree of comfort in working with him professionally already
- Familiar with Shibarium: Shane has been a contributor with another official Shib partner project, Bad Idea AI, and has shown a vast knowledge of the values of the Shibarium community in my opinion. Those who have worked with him on Bad Idea have had very positive words about his contribution. Shane also hosts Spaces with another partner of K9, Living the Dream, and their team has had positive reviews about his work as well
I look forward to reviewing the application & hearing the thoughts of this application, and others, from the Roundtable of Dogs. I believe it should also be weighted that Shane is a member of the K9 DAO Whale Chat as a holder and active participant in the broader DAO, so there is alignment with the greater vision & success of the project, although I do not believe this is a scoring criteria on the current evaluation form of submissions.
I do not make this reply to form bias. If other applicants would like to post publicly on the forum, I will also happily reply with positive thoughts to their applications to give the community my opinion
I strongly approve the subdao idea and this proposal.
lol just what I tried to say above, very well written and explain very well why Shane is a very good candidate for this:)
So hey, who take the challenge?! Only one of 9000 ppl who got the skills?
I think this proposal is a great way to bring fresh ideas to the DAO. Seeing @Pulse_Digital putting a proposal forward to take this on was a breath of fresh air. I support his application because he has been there from the beginning , shows passion about the project, he runs the weekly spaces and is close with the team. He has shown to be a smart marketer and given the proposal the lift and transition would be less. Shane would start hitting the ground running.
This proposal was discussed in the 12/10/24 Roundtable of Dogs meeting.

Just a side noteā¦Should all the applicants have equal scoring in the blind application process. Passion for K9 and the desire to have K9 to succeed should be the tie breaker
