I chose a number that seemed like an appropriate compensation for a person or team’s time to complete the study based on industry rates.

Why is there a need for a separate budget

The proposal is designed to compensate the professionals who will do the task for their time spent working for the K9 DAO. I would never ask anyone to work for free.
